Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you some of the features on the Curt In-Bed Gooseneck Kit for your OEM Puck System on your 2023 Chevy 3500. The kit is gonna come with what you see here and a carrying case. You'll have your two safety chain loops that simply twist into your puck system, they'll lock into place using these pins, and when you're not using 'em, flip this snapper pin back, pull the pin up, twist it, pull 'em out, and set 'em inside your carrying case for safe travel. Twist 'em back into place. These are extremely easy to put into place. more

First off, right off the bat, you'll see it's gonna come with this nice, hard plastic case, which I really like. That way you can keep everything in one place at the same time. You can imagine how much these parts would roll around in the back seat of your truck or in the bed of your truck if you're not using them. The kit's gonna come with a rubber plug to plug up the center hole if you don't want to use the one that came with your factory system, or if you didn't get any that came with it, it'll help to keep any of the dirt and debris and water outta the inside of that hole. more

Demco Premier Series 5th Wheel Rails Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Review- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Demco Gooseneck Plate that attaches into your 5th wheel rails. Now, if you've already got the above-bed rail kit for a 5th wheel, but you also need a way to haul a gooseneck trailer, this is a really great way to do it, because it makes use of those existing rails, drops into place, pins in, and gives you that 2 5/16 ball up top to attach your gooseneck trailer. Let's check it out. So like I mentioned, you've got your 2 5/16 ball up top, it sits right in the middle between the two rails and mounts into your industry standard rails, and then has slots off to the side of the plate for your safety chains to attach to. It's big enough to get some of your clevis hooks in there, but depending on the size of those clevis hooks, you might find some clearance issues, so just be mindful of that and be aware of it, but they are plenty big to get these ones on there. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit for the GM Underbed Gooseneck Hitch. Now, this 2 5/16 inch hitch ball is designed to fit your GM installed underbed gooseneck trailer hitch, and this pop-in ball fits in easily and securely in your hitch as it locks with a built-in ball bearing system. And it is easy to remove, you simply lift and turn the integrated lever to unlock and remove the ball, and when you lift this lever, it's going to release the tension on the ball bearings, and so, those will be able to go in and you can easily remove this. And the overall length of this ball is going to be about 6 1/2 inches tall, and the gross towing weight is 30,000 pounds, but please remember that the capacity is limited to that of your hitch. This kit also includes two safety chain loops and you will just attach them directly to the receivers built in to the underbed rails for simple mounting and removal. And you will also receive this rubber cover that's going to keep the ball hole free from dirt and debris when your ball is removed. more

So this allows you to use a gooseneck hitch ball for your gooseneck trailer to connect up to that. And then also these mounting points for your safety chains to connect into your truck as well. This works with the factory pucks system for the Chevy GM trucks and also Ford and Nissan. So any of those that have that factory gooseneck attachment should be able to use these guys. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Quick Goose two gooseneck hitch with the installation kit for Ford trucks, has a 30,000 pound weight capacity. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1980 to 1997 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250s and F-350 trucks. Because it fits so many different trucks, I would recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle and it'll show if this'll work for your application.Now this is a heavy duty underbed hitch that'll let you tow your gooseneck trailer. This hitch does use this two handle operation for raising and lowering the gooseneck ball. Basically the two handles are positioned under the truck wheel well and the handles can be positioned on either side of the truck. more

Being that this is an underbed kit, all of our main components are going to be located here underneath our truck, which in turn means that we're going to have full bed access here up top. That can be especially useful when we're running around the job site, maybe throwing a few motorcycles in the bed, or even some luggage when we're taking the family on vacation. Now, one of the biggest differences I noticed about this kit compared to some of the other ones is the overall craftsmanship. It's much better, in my opinion. more

Curt Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Review- Video
Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer today. We're going to be taking a look at two different Curt products, but they're going to accomplish the same thing. We're going to be looking at the curd spider and the Curt drop-in plate. Both of them are going to be a gooseneck conversion for your fifth wheel rails that are already in your bed.Now what I like about this is let's say you have a fifth wheel camper that you go camping with for the past couple of years. And you decide that you want to either haul a gooseneck trailer because you got a side project coming up or something like that, but you don't want to take out your bed because you still like going camping. This is designed to help you haul goosenecks in the proper way, by just utilizing the rails that are already in your bed.The first difference is going to be that our safety chain loops on our spider are going to be on the front and they're going to be spring-loaded, just like our standard ones are on your regular goosenecks. more

And on a custom fit part like this I do recommend for you to go to our website use the fit guide, put in your year of model vehicle, and it'll show you if this'll work for your application.Now this is a nice heavy duty under bed hitch, lets you tow your gooseneck trailer. That's either a long bed truck or a short bed truck, does use the single piece machine ball socket right in here to provide rugged durability. Uses a square ball base on the gooseneck ball prevents the ball from turning in the hitch during hookup. You drop it in there, no movement.(objects cackling) And it does use this five eight inch thick spring loaded steel locking latch pin, on the end of this handle it'll go all the way through the gooseneck ball to secure it in place. more
